Wetlands Project.

Our Wetlands Project will result in a group exhibition at the Viewing Center in November 2010.

Catrina Wilson gets up close and personal with one of the Wetlands Creatures at the Viewing Center near Cheyenne Bottoms.

Mallory Anderson gets more hands on experience than she signed up for.

Catrina Wilson makes a new friend while John Hamilton supervises.

2010 High School Art Day is an annual event we all look forward to.  Students organize and present demonstrations for the high school visitors.

John Hamilton demonstated his figurative sculpting of “Boy Toys”.  John is working towards a teaching career and splits his time between throwing and sculpting.

Jillian Tatum is also working toward a teaching career and focuses on the wheel for forming high fire and crystalline glazed vessels.

Claudia Enciso and Mark Freeman demonstrate wheel work.  Both focus on the wheel for forming the majority of their work.

Catrina Wilson primarily sculpts and works with the figure.  She is creating a series of textural handbuilt vessels for this demonstration.  Mark and Bambi Freeman (below) are kitchen testing his functional pottery.  Bambi did a series of bodycast molds as a tool to use in the exploration of issues relating to health family and the body.

Catrina Wilson  and Reese Farness confer during High School Day Demonstrations.  Reese is now attending graduate school in Illinois.
