What are the FHSU Ceramics Alums Up To?

Jennifer Higerd is now a fulltime Art faculty member of Union College near St. Louis,  Missouri.  She and recent Alum, Danielle Robinson – studio artist, will be featured in the Sternberg Museum in 2011 with an exhibition exploring the intersection of art and science.

Brianne Fulton is a fulltime Art faculty member at Crowder College near Joplin, Missouri.  She, Jennifer Higerd and current student, Casey Stueber will be exhibiting at Pittsburg State University this academic year.

David Harris landed the Ceramics position at Missouri Western in St. Joseph, Missouri.

 My current research includes figurative sculpture, figures and installation based on the concept of

extraORDINARY CHARACTERs. A solo exhibition was held at McMurray University, Abilene, TX, 2009. Three “extraORDINARY CHARACTERs Workshops” featuring figurative ceramics and low fire surface techniques were held in Texas, Colorado and California in 2009.
